Default how to hook up an aftermarket tach?

im sure this was asked before but i want to be sure. i have a 96 civic dx coupe. i hooked up the tach to the battery and and tach signal wire (thanks to mill$ for the pics he posted in an earlier thread!). anyway, now that i know it works, how to i wire it up?

where do the cables get permanantly attached? how do i get the wires through the dash and the firewall?

any advice will help. thanks

you mount the gauge then run the wires under the dashboard. There should be a hole in the firewall to run the wire through, if there isn't then you have to drill one for it. Hook the power wire into the fuse box, not the battery.
