HID Glare

Default HID Glare

just put in hids (from a 2003 IS series) in my 95 civic. having trouble with the glare though. i dont hve any money for projectors. what can i do to help eliminate or reduce the glare? can i cut out the things inside the headlight housing.

no dont cut the metal things out inside the headlights.. keep them as designed... best thing you can do is spend some time adjusting the headlights down more.
thats how i have my 99 with HIDs in stock housings. and ive never been flashed at.

just spend some time around a wall adjusting them at night.....

only thing i can tell ya is your not gonna get rid of the glare, the housing wasn't designed for the high output of a HID bulb, so it's just gonna throw light off everywhere. best thing to do is save your pennies and do a retro if you don't want glare.
