Default HID bulb question

ok so i browsed the other HID posts and didnt see anything related to this, so...

are HID's universally interchangable? Like i wanna get the Oznium kit, but I saw some HIDs in an Acura 3.2CL (2001ish, somewhere between 10000k-13000k bulbs) that i liked. would they work with the kit?

Just take the OEM bulb out and look at what it says on the side.. that is the quickest way to find out... Alot of 7th gen aftermarket housings take H1 bulbs and OEM housings are like H3 . . . for an 8th gen you really just have to either take out the bulb or look at your manual... that is the only size bulb you can put in that car because it wont securely plug in.

also, the higher the K rating, the bluer the lights look

stock acura is somewhere in the 5-6k range I think

the one i saw was more of a purple color, and it was HID's in regular headlights (not projectors) and it looked neat. though a lot of people rant and rave about how BAD10000k-13000k bulbsare, as far as visibility. i think the car even uses the same bulb sizeas mine

The higher the K rating the lower the actual light output. 4300 is pure white with the best output
