is it just the Svedka, or is there no pic of the car up? +1 on keeping the black trim, I think it looks better, and like reaper said, you can leave the front lip unpainted black when you get it to save yourself the time and money of ordering the matched paint etc.. and it'll match the trim nice.
The mod that is the easiest, cheapest, and yields the most noticeable gain would be a short ram intake. you can get an ebay shortram for 30, and replace the ebay filter with a K&N cone which is about 50 (but worth it IMO), It should noticeably help with acceleration.
If you are looking for a more powerful sound, but dont wanna spend much money, you might wanna look at an axleback exhaust instead of a catback. They wont yield much if any performance gain, but they sound nice and are like half the price.
I dont know what your taste is, but i actually prefer a spoiler, but not a big rice one. The cheapest place i could find an imitation oem unpainted spoiler was www.autopartswarehouse.com You might also check ebay, if you are lucky you might find the perfect one, I got my girlfriend's jdm spoiler off ebay already color matched for 50 shipped.

i recommend 16" as well. 17" would look too big and would ride like ****, trust people that had 17" on their civics and switched them out.

I am one of those people.
You will get real tired real fast. You may say now that you care more about looks (even though I don't even think 17" looks better than a smaller rim) than comfort, but later on you won't.
