Hail damage - Appearance I guess

Hail damage - Appearance I guess
I didn't quite know where to put this threat, so feel free to move it if desired. My baby was caught in a hail storm a week or two ago and after calling my insurance company, they gave me 3 possible options. a) They can fix the dints. b) They replace and respray all the damaged pannels (hood, boot and roof at a min.) c) Write off. I was wondering how they can pop out hail damage? Does it do it cleanly? I have $400 excess so if they can't fix it up like new, I might as well just leave it. Anyone got any opinions? Aside from take to it with a piece of 2x4 and make sure its a write off.

RE: Hail damage - Appearance I guess
ya id have em poped out... tho with a 400dollar deductable... ya might want to just go to these paintless dent removal places and get a quote from them...
on my old 96jimmy they quoted me like150-200bucks to fix the roof damage and it was preaty bad hail damage... i think it mainly depends on HOW BAD the damage is! my old jimmy was beat up REALY BAD!!!!!!!!!
if the paint is busted then id say have it replaced or repaired...
my friend at work has his 95civic beat up by hail and he is just to lazy to check with his insurance about geting it fixed! but the hail damage just makes your car look bad and resell is realy hard! cause no one wants a dented up car!
