got basic layout of trunk done today.. just need to take care of small details and wiring.. then add top cover and carpet.. my cheapy power acoustic 2.5 farad will mount directly underneath the amp on the rack.. and got a shot of what my deck and my new DSP look like.. found kit for upper dash to mount deck with the 96-98 dash.. and hoping the cup holder insert will just come out and be able to slide the DSP right in with no probs..

Coming along very nicely. Love the black block... Someone mentioned it highlights the headers more and I agree. Great work.

only got one picture of the front end mounted back up with new control arm.. new hawk brake pads in place with painted calipers.. but had more problems with front end.,. got the new endlinks and bolts for front sway bar.. found that there are 2 different control arms.. and eibachs sway bar does not fit the one i have.. so having to take back the endlinks if possible.. and custom make an eyelet to mount the sway bar then had to go buy a digital volt meter for the TB since they guy who was going to bring his bailed.. so engine bay got put on hold for the weekend.. but finished up trunk just waiting to mount/carpet the top panels until system is tuned as it will not be accessible without ripping carpet back up.. wires are ran for system now.. just have to hookup head/dsp and kick panels.. then start tuning it..

also SI control arms are 1/4 inch difference from stock..so might need a camber kit in front just due to this.. so Eibach sway bars in front on a non SI.. are a ripoff IMO.. they better make a godly difference in handling for the amount of cash/time you have to spend to install..

Eibach sway bars=350 kit
Si control arms salvage=70
Damper Fork from dealer=100
Brackets/Bolts=30
Allignment (Sears)=60
will update if camber needed on fronts soon.

There is your total cost to add sway bars for the DIY's if you have a 96-00 non SI .. plus dont forget you have to custom make a bracket or find control arms from an SI that have a vertical eyelet.. If you find a pull your own that doesnt charge you much you might be able to lower the cost on the extra needed parts.. so offering this knowledge so someone doesnt go through the same painstaking task I just went through..
