yea, i know its a little random but oh well, i figured id post it up. i am working on putting new led strips into my ac controls ((done)) and my defrost and all that. ill post pics later. but, i also ordered me a type r carbon fiber gauge bezel to go around the speedometer, new lugnuts - muteki, mugen license plate bolts, a screen protector along with an alpine iva-w205 in-dash monitor ((not here yet)), a pac tr7 video bypass module, kca-422i ipod cable, and i am going to hook my slim ps2 up. one more thing, i am about to order some more led's to do my speedometer housing and tomorrow i should be finishing up the lower portion of the dash that i painted black. so, what do u guys think? ill have some more pics later

Can't wait to see it all on. I wanted those license plate bolts but it's pretty expensive for two fancy bolts. That'll be my finishing touches along with those bolts with colored washers for under the engine bay.

That gauge bezel is going to look nice.

 

Have you installed the type r carbon fiber gauge bezel. I want to know if it looks nice because as you already know the SI gauges have the carbon fiber look also. I been wanting to know if it looks cool. Can U post a picture to see if it looks good then I will make up my mind. I also have an extra OEM gauge bezel and I wasthinking of painting it blue like the color of the car. As you can see we have the same car but I like the type r carbon fiber gauge bezel and I seen them On e-bay for about 40.00 with delivery. Where did you get yours.

 

^You can get genuine Honda CTR carbon bezels like that for around 40 bucks on JDM sites. Although with those you have to remove your maintenance required reset switch... or cut a hole for it I guess.

 

i got mine from www.icbmotorsport.com it was like $32 i think yea, ill post pics. and whenever i sell my old radio, i am going to get a cf dash kit (a good one), a new shift **** - arc or one of those evo-r ones. suggestions?? and i am also looking for some new floormats....i kinda want a blue/black combo on floormats.

Yeah I noticed that and + next to the maintenance required reset switch on the left side is also missing the Cruise Control Light I could probably cut a hole also and put the plastic behind from my spare OEM Cluster bezel. But I'll just be waiting for his pictures to see how it turns out...

holy!!! **** it was a major pain to do...i did cut a hole for the cruise control....that wasnt sooo hard. i just drilled tiny holes and then got the dremel and a little thing to cut the oval with....it turned out pretty good. on the OTHER HAND, there is this little button thing that was a big problem. u can see from the pics. it turned out ok though and i didnt take any pics with the plastic piece on and in the car yet, but i will later. but once the plastic piece was in, you couldnt tell that i had cut the hole out. i cut that black plastic piece OFF of my original bezel and put it underneath the other one so it would look clean.

as you can see i cut out the hole for the cruise control (looks factory cause im so good .... lol) and then, i had to guess where to cut for that button thing. i dont even know what it is. but like i said, with the plastic cover on, you cant tell that i cut a little too far. ill have more pics later. but, what do u think? and im telling you, if you want a cf bezel, your gonna be getting a P.I.T.A. with it too!!
