how can you do a guage swap and legally get the mileage reset to match the car?

theres some place u can actually buy a new cluster from and tell them the milage u want.....dont remember the site thou so i guess im not much help

if its not digital just remove the plastic and manualy change it??!@?@! IDK mite work

i was gonna change speedo's out, so they would be correct, but the damn mount in the housing is different. there has to be something though, what if your speedo breaks, also i plan on swapping out power plant neway, same problem?

no good , speedo's are tmper resistant, they have a kinda oily film, if you touch it , it leaves a very noticable print, and try to wipe it the numbers smear

my brother just recently bought a 97 dx and he also is without a tach in his gauge cluster.

Anyone know if any gauge bezel from other models with tach's will swap in. Someone suggested that the 97 LX came with a tach and that it would plug right in and work without any modification. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

i have an old 89 civic hatch dx 5 spd and it has no tach i dont fell the need for one
Clutch life [sm=icon_flaming.gif]. Not a big deal though. I got one because I had one in my Camry and I'll be honest, it just didn't feel right only having one gauge go up and down as I drove. It's my security blanket.
