Default FOGGY HEADLIGHTS

Can someone right me up a DIY to defog my headlights. They're getting pretty nasty and its about time to clean them. the only thing i know is that you have to bake them but I dont know anything else. A thorough DIY with pics would be greatly appreciated.

well do you mean the outside is getting foggy or is it from the inside..... if its the outside then just go to walmart go and buy the mothers powerball and a bottle of plastx and buff those headlights till there shiny again that what i used...if there inside then youll hav eto bake them to break the seal the clean them and reseal them with clear silicone

To bake is easy... take off all removeable caps and metal stuff that is on the back of the headlights... set your oven to 175-200 ish and let them sit on a cookie sheet for about 5 minutes at a time. Then use a flathead screwdriver and slowly pry them apart and dont forget the tabs that hold the notches on... once you do that they separate and will stick back together once to bake them and then press them together.... it shouldnt take very long
