and can kill babies and children under three...... Roll cages can save lives but with daily drivers is more likely to kill because people don't have them padded and crack their skull on it in an accident... OE seats are way better than ebay sport buckets cause the sport buckets could break your back, I've heard of OE seats crippling people in accidents but I've yet to hear of a real person or a friend of his/hers that got hurt from a ebay sport bucket....

If the guy wants an aftermarket wheel, that's his deal..... Please for the love of god don't turn this forum into H-T.....

I've seen plenty of people on here with them and also getting a non stock wheel at all would not be safe so even getting an s2000 or type r wheel would be unsafe also.

I dont think anyone here was trying to do that. But this guys seams to be new to this whole scene. I know I was just trying to help him not make a decision that could lead to injury of himself and maybe someone else on the road with him.

Babies and children under three shouldn't be driving anywaysoI think that is irrelevant when talking about deleting the driver's airbag.

After one of you guys said that their friend's ebay wheel broke when they tried to turn real fast kind of makes me want to go buy a sparco wheel to replace mine because I do realize that they are flimsy, I can flex it by just pushing on it with one hand.

Honestly, we dont care as much about not hurting your feelings as we do about you not getting dead. LOL Glad you understand where we are coming from though.

Was only saying that airbags in any form can be deadly... Now the "his wheel broke while trying to swerve" comment does show some validity towards not buying cheapo steering wheels and these are the types of comments I'd like to see more often. I see it way to much that people have opinons about something but I've seen very few "it happened to me" or "it happend to my friend" comments involving something failing... I'm of the agreement that if you're gonna get an aftermarket wheel to stick to the more name brands (MOMO, Sparco and personal).... I personally have my OE only because I don't wanna play steering wheel tango when it comes to emissions and inspections time, that and the locking hubs are said to have little effect for security (as well as I have the feeling that the detachable steering wheel assembly has less squish than the standard momo hubs)....
