Default Debadging Problems

Ok, so I finally got pictures of the mess on the back of my civic. After attempting to debadge, I uncovered this:

The marks seem to be indentations in the paint. Do I need to go to a body shop to get this fixed?

goo-off and a ton of elbow greeze worked good for me. although those scratches I got just a little from, everything is almost completely gone now. I use Zaino on my car. http://www.zainostore.com/. And it got rid of the scratches and everything soon enough. The wax is the sh*t. Just wax and wash it a bunch of times, no need to take that to the body shop. Try getting rid of the lining of the civic and stuff. put some muscle into it!

Ok. So I should purchase Goo-Gone, but what kind of pad should I use? Then wax and wash?

dito. wha the said... googone should take MOST of it off.....

but if thiers still alittle outline just take some 2K grit WET sandpaper on a small flexable block and LOTS of water while sanding it and then use some rubbing compound to bring the paint back to a shine then finish off with alittle wax.

just try not to sand to much off..... easiest way to tell is do about 30seconds of sanding then with another rag wipe the area off let it dry alittle and if its all smooth looking its done... but if you still see a outline do it another 30seconds or so... and check again.

I had similar problems when I debadged my car. Here's what you need to do:

1. Get the rest of the goo off with goo-gone.

2.Get a scratch-removing compound to get rid of that 'haze' that is left.
I used Meguiar's Scratch-X on my 07 NightHawk Black Civic. It took the haze right off. Use it liberally.

Good luck!

Ok, just went outside to work on the debadging some more. I went to Advanced Auto Parts, they didnt have Goo-Gone, but the guy there recommended this stuff:

Got my towel, prayed some of the chemical on it, started to work on the "EX" part, and this started to happen, so I stopped. It looks really bad:

And the "CIVIC" part of the logo doesn't seem to be getting any better, and I worked on that part for a good 10 minutes straight, here are some pics of that section:
