debadging help
alright. i just kinda finished debadging my car today. followed the DIY on here exactly. but there's still some adhesive residue left. i had tried alcohol and goo gone. used a plastic scraper. even hand washed it with a rag. there is still some residue left. if you look at it, you can still tell clearly what it said. is there something, maybe better than goo gone, to get this last little bit off?

Ya i had that problem....ummm not sure if it will do the trick but try a clay bar
This could be a horrible idea, but maybe mineral spirits or lacquer thinner? Pretty sure that will take off the clear coat though......

it's basically polishing compound that cuts harder
it's for removing bigger imperfections than polishing compound can. you use it first to remove the imperfection, then you polish with polishing compound to bring the clear shine back.
don't buff the rubbing compound for too long, you'll eat through the clear coat.
