cut or remove cold air intake ??

go here http://www.knfilters.com/universal/universal.htm you could find a filter that would fit just about anywhere especially if you get one with a flange angle of 30-40 degrees

its worth a try if it doesnt work you could always just cut it to make it a short ram with a cone filter or foam filter.

You're gas mileage situation... It looks like you might have painted the filter, clogging it, and KILLING your gas mileage. You guys see, on the edges of the interfooler, where it's painted blue? It doesn't look like the paint stops where the filter starts; I think you painted your filter.

whaaaatttttt theeeee Faacccckkk. interfooler=ghey anyways get rid of it, it aint foolin anyone on here, and it doesnt even give anybetter gains then a short ram so why?!?! i say cut it an inch above the line you drew, get a cone filter, if that doesnt work, cut it up top and short ram it just liek everyone else says.

it depends on the size how big is your pipe diameter on the outside?
