Default custom paintjob

Im still in high school and i got a silver 97 ex with some bolt ons. Im about to start working at a body shop my moms friend is opening. (so i can paint my car for free pretty much) im thinking of putting on a body kit similar to the invader on it. bc my paintjob is crappy on it now so i might as well. im thinking of painting it silver again with some flakes in it, with some blue flames on the hood and fenders. What do you guys think, will i be another ricer or will it be pretty sweet?

Since you're fairly new, and we like you so much on here, this is what we're gonna do for you, just to help you out at learning your new job.

We're gonna let you paint all of our cars for free! (after you get some experience, that is)

Sounds good. I agree. When can we schedule? LOL!

Do what you like. It's your ride. However, be ready to get flamed if it's too much.

I dunno man...be careful...flakes and flames sound like a bad recipe to me. your car may come out lookin ghetto. I personally wouldn't go that route but then again it's not my car.

the flake sounds good, but instead of doing the flames, i would go with something simpler like something down the side, just a thought

Its really up to you mate

Personally, I would never paint flames on my car, maybe on a big *** custom hot rod or something but not a Civic.

I know a few people who have metal flake paint jobs, some look good and some look ****, reason is the size of the flake.
Smaller flakes look much much nicer, but stay away from the bigger flakes they look crap.

I think that you'll only pull off flames and flakes if the rest of your car is pretty much show standard. Everything must be top notch for the paint job to work
out, if you get me.

Personally I wouldnt, but its up to you...be sure to post some pics of whateever paint job you go for!
