Closing Seems On Body Kit

Well i was just wondering if any of you have seen a body kit on a car patch in and blended......Do you think i should seem them or just attach it regualry........I hate having cracks

If you fiberglass it or bondo and then you hit the ground and drag the kit, the kit will move and the fiberglass wil crack and you will have to fix it and repaint so I don't think its worth it.

People "mold" the kit to the car all the time. Only on show cars really. If you ever want to change or get into a accident or somthing, its a real mess. Unless its a trailer queen..dont bother.

yeah im having gap issues with my kit too, but like they siad molding has its drawbacks. im just adding more glass to extend and cover my gaps

i know alot of people that have molded kits and personally i love the look when its first done. But as everyone knows fiberglass expands with the weather as it gets cold and warm out. I know people that have trailored there car that you can start to see it cracking under the paint. So i would say don't do it..

Yea agreed, my skirts are molded and while it looks good and all it has begun to crack. You can only really tell up close and if you're looking specifically at it.
It may be worth it to mold them if the gap is quite large, but I would still find a way to lessen the gap and not mold.
