my vis evo hood has a removable water trap in the large vent but evan if it does rain on it it wont really effect the filter much there no way to get water lock that way the filter would have to be submerged completely .and if your that worried about it injen makes a water proof cover for any size filter that does not effect the air flow these were designed for cai to prevent waterlock. there like 20 bucks

I could make something to cover the vents when raining? Tape the vent from the inside?

anything attached to your factory hood use it on the VIS one.

four bolts and a few water hoses are also attached, not to mention the water squirt nozzles

you could seal it permanently or wait did you just say duct tape dam well the mesh thats in the vis is removable they just use bendable metal so i guess you could put whatever you could imagine in its place also invest in a dremal for the pins and the washer fluid holes need to be expanded to fit properly .

If the hood i get does not have holes for the washer fluid, I'm not even going to bother.

The only inspection we have in ct is emissions. And i look at all the test they do, and none are for safety. My horn is disabled because i didn't hook it up with the new steering wheel, and i know that some states test horns, but nowhere dos it say they test this stuff.

The hood will make the car look better. i guess carbon fiber is the fourth color? The center caps for my rims are carbon fiber.
