Default Brake Caliper Paint

Is it alright to paint stock brake calipers with brake paint?

If so any cheap suggestions?

yes and please make sure you use the right stuff. Should be a two part paint. Anything else will just flake off and not last very long.

Here use this:

I concur i used just the spray on before and after a summer it was all flaked and chipped, bought the kind pictured above and it worked great. Can be found at walmart, autozone and the like.

You're talkin about the stuff that costs 39.95 at the bottom of the page right?
This stuff really works?

yeah man, finished result is always good. You can also use that dupli colour stuff too. That works well as well. And definitely dont cheap out. If it starts flaking and stuff it'll look worse than not doing it at all.

yep works great and i had this idea as you wont use all the paint in the can see if one of your friends wants to paint his also and go in halves on it as you dont need a lot of paint, thus making it cheaper.
