well depends on what type of amplifier fuse ya use thiers pleanty of types...

but i just use a typical fuse box fuse.....
mostly the add-a-circuits from autozone.
tho i dont have it wired up in the car YET.... my only problem will be finding a location to mount my new switch... cause my old switch location now houses my fog light switch

i still have to wire in a few diodes as well so i can select if i want it to flash or just solid..... but i still need to buy a switch..... so ill just redue it later on....

Ive been contemplating doing something similar with my custom boot install. Im getting some fuel bottle mounts in my boot for my fire stick with lights in them like this. Its a good look.

well leds dont use much power at all.... any type of inline fuse will work fine... and for fuse rating id say 2.5 or 5amp

if your putting the wires in your cup holder then when you run the wires to a switch on your arm rest like i did just run the ground wires to a bolt under the arm rest... like the ones that hold your e-brake on your frame... thats what i did and it worked out grate and saved a lot of wire sence you dont have to run it very far...
