96-98 to 99-00 Front end conversion
What's up guys? I'm new to the forum but wanted to tell about a project i'm about to start. I've got a 97 civic ex coupe. I recently wrecked it and destroyed the driver's side fender headlight and bumper. I decided that I would go ahead and do the conversion to the 99-00 civic front end. I have read and understand that it can be done without the radiator support so I am going to try it first without it. I've already got the two fenders, hood, bumper, and headlights. All that I lack in the way of parts is the grille. I think that it will look alot better when completed. If anyone has ever done this and/or has any advice, let me know what you think. I'll post some pics later. Wish me luck.

It seems like a chore.. My boyfriend had the same thing happen to him. He got into an accident with his '97 Civic and is now converting it to the '00 front end. But it looks better than it did... If this is what you want to do, good luck and more power to you!

Someone has to do it right?
Don't forget a nice set of red and white 99-00 tail lights.

Well if you want to do the swap, the absolutly required parts are the hood, the two fenders, headlights, and grille. I have heard that the radiator support doesn't fit the bumper just right but you can do the swap without a new support.
