well the shine isnt ever going to be comprable to a bc/cc paintjob but for 50 bucks ill take it. The real shine of it will come out after a total of 6 coats and sanding. So far so good i got the second coat on this morning hopefully ill get it wet sanded and the third coat on tomorrow. So far i am pleased with the results.

Pics from second coat

i read til page 13 and didnt read anything about the odorless mineral spirits. I actually started this process tonight using odorless mineral spirits, however there is no ingredients which makes me think that it is 100% what difference does it make so far mine looks like glass as it is drying
Uhmmmm....They got to 100% mineral, because the low odor stuff was having issues with #1 Drying hard, #2 drying fast (8-10 hrs) so the process could continue, and #3 the two above cause adhesion issues.
It looks like you are having good results, and I hope the work light stays on to keep it nice and warm. More heat = faster drying. Each color paint had different tendencies for application and drying etc...I think white and black where the prefered colors.
Good luck and keep us posted.

At the end they suggest a final rub and polish, but hold on wax for 30 days to ensure off gassing and max hardening of the paint.

did you thin it again? they say that the paint can thicken from day to day. you could try to wetsand out that layer if it is really bad.
