I have an air compressor, do you use the same recepie except put it in a spray gun?

no if you plan on spraying the paint you need to use different paint this method only works for rolling on the paint.

Man, I just noticed this thread! You guys are awesome for trying this out as both cars look really great. Do they have smaller rollers that you could use to get in those crevices, and the door handle, door jambs etc? That would really complete the color transformation. Props to both of you on a great job and I would love to see a DIY on this. [sm=smiley20.gif]

i used a 4 inch ultra high density foam roller on the large areas and in the smaller nooks and crannies i just used a foam brush.

One quick question, what can I just to fill in the dents and smooth things out? And where can I buy it.

This will save me a whole lot of money that I do not have.

^^ If you have to ask then you need a pro to take care of that for you. If your dents aren't too bad, with no creases or rust, I would suggest paintless dent removal. For about $50 a panel you can have a dent free car, and you won't have bondo all over the place. It's either bondo or PDR, but with either one, I'd have a pro handle it.
