honestly if its just a muffler bolted on, ud be better off getting a stock muffler from a junkyard. A silencer is going to cost like 40 bucks. U could prolly get a stock muffler for 20 from a junkyard, and just bolt it on.

well if you think about it if its just the muffler.

the current one is going to have a larger inlet than stock. so its not going to be a straight bolt on. its problebly welded. so geting a silencer is problebly going to be cheaper. if they some how bolted it on then you would be right. but i dont think that is the case.

Actually Pepboys sells pipe adapters, so there is a very high possibility that it's bolted in

hey dude, i have a Borla canister and tip i'll sell to you for $20 (if you'll pay shipping). I'm about to take it off and put a new canister on. its really quiet and there is still a noticeable gain in hp compared to stock.

If you're willing to spend a little money, get a little bit of performance and still be quiet as hell you could get a nice twin loop muffler... I don't know the BEST place to get one, but I know they can be found at www.jdmcarboy.com .... They look really nice too....

i have the same problem. i was thinking about going back to stock but i have headers so wouldnt a stock muffler defeat the purpose of the headers? cause i still want power but i just get sick of the noise if im driving for any long period of time.

Go with a twin-loop muffler then.
