Default Megan Racing Cat Back Has Bad Resonance!!!

I've had my Megan Racing Cat Back on my 94 EX for several months now. And man is it loud inside the car as well as outside. The inside of the car vibrates like a mad man under certain RPM's. I also had a Megan Racing Header, but took it off cause I got a fix it ticket since it wasn't CARB certified. So it's getting to the piont where i'm thinking of changing out my exhaust to something without the resonance issue. If someone can reccomend a cat back the won't rattle my brain as much as my current set up, that would be great! Thanks!

RS*R ex mag. quiet and predicatable. that's the direction I'm going in.

ws2...

You could try picking up a magnaflow resonator and then having a shop weld it into your system. other people on here have had some success with that.

ugh, I have that same exhaust, and have absolutely no resonance problems. Its a nice, deep, low tone. Granted, N/A is significantly louder than when I was boosted, but its still tolerable.

Just put the silencer in for long trips

turbo is quieter than NA? Thats good news

Maybe you could get just a Netami twin loop muffler to replace the Megan one, just keep teh same piping. or you could replace/add another resonator with a big ol Magnaflow one. I know mine quieted it down alot....

Yeah man, think about it. Theres all kinds of stuff in between the exhaust ports, and the downpipe. My car sounded a hundred times sweeter with the turbo on there.
