so now i get to get the universal O2 sensor simulator, and a high flow cat, should i get the Magnaflow univeral highflow cat or the one built of the EX.....Will the simulator killmy gas mileage?

No, the after cat O2 sensor does not change a/f ratios. It is completely passive and the only thing it does is throw your check engine light if your cat is not working correctly. It has no active function.

ok so now i understand the O2 sensorsim. but when i get a catalic converter, should i get the universal high flowcat or the civic EX high flow cat?

Hey tknaub... I am doing the write up on the Thunder header I got from westimports... I dont know about the other guys but this thing is amazing... I did the whole LX---->EX conversion and it turned out fantastic...

I am also doing the LX to Ex convertion......so far i got headers, catback, cat converter, and O2 simulator......now i think i have everything, Is that what you needed?

You doing it yourself or bringing it to a shop? If your doing it yourself you'll need the right tools. 3/8" ratchet set, you will be using primarily a 12mm socket, and the 14mm sometimes. rust removeing spray, I recommend pb blaster, a breaker bar, rubber mallet, maybe even ano2 sensor socket( can be removed without one but if your worried about rounding off the edges or tightening to spec might consider it). I also recommend following a manual or aDIY, I used this one to do my megan racing header swap http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1113916Thats for a 6th gen civic though and the converter is seperate from the manifold but it might help for some things.

I think i am going to a shop because my wife doesnt want me doing it alone plus she knows i would probly runinto a problem, this is my first car i have ever modded.

This may sound really stupid but......Theexhaust has2.5" piping with 2.25" inlet and the header has a 2.25" outlet so will my 2.25" catalic converter work or do i need the 2.5"?????[&:]
