Now i just have the choice between the two, i have heard good about both of them, i really dont care which is more, i just want the quality.......which would you do? Its a toos between either the stainless steel megan headers or the cermiac coats DC sports headers? Then i also need to know, should i stick with my magnaflow exhaust (which i can cancel the order) and get a megan exhaust?

they have good quality stuff at low prices, and its a true name brand. You wont notice a difference in performance between the 2 brands, but you will notice the price difference

 

True.....So i now just bought the header and exhaust, do i need to buy O2 sensors and a cataltic converter? If so what is some good choices because im going from an LX to an EX.....so i know the exhaust is different....

 

you dont need to buy a cat, you can keep the stock one. Or you can upgrade to a hi flow cat. about the o2 sensors i think your fine. but im not positive

 

I thought with the LX (7th gen civics) the Cat was underneath or with the stock headers unlike the EX?

Pop your hood and check if the cat is bolted directly onto your stock header. If you cant tell by that then get under it and take a look. On my DX the cat was bolted right up to the header and when I got a new header it replaced the entire stock header and cat. If this is the case you will need to buy an aftermarket cat and get it welded into your exhaust. You dont have to but you will want to because 1) w/o it the exhuast sounds like poop and 2) save the enviroment man! If it is the same setup as my DX then there is an 02 sensor that was placed in the cat that will be left out so youll then need to buy a 02simulator.

 

It is bolt to my stock header, where did you get your O2 sim at, i dont see any that fits civics, i went to 02sim.com and 2 other sites......would a regular 02 sensor be wiser?
