Can some wise owner of a 2006 or 2007 Civic LX Sedan tell me whether or not this
Magnaflow Cat-back system, #16687, will install on a sedan with no problems of any
kind....is it a "direct bolt-on" system or do I have to modify it to make it work??

magnaflow's are a good system but with my experience on any aftermarket part some little problems might pop up. and it should be a direct bolt on i know a coupe of 8th gen owners with this exhaust and it sounds sweet.they didn't have any install problems "good luck". i might get one for my 07 ex coupe later this year

 

Thanks for the response...I know the system fits well on the coupe, its the fitment on my sedan that
I'm concerned about. The Magnaflow official web site and their tech dept both state that this 16687
system is for the coupe, as they have yet to test-fit this system to the sedan, yet many aftermarket parts
sites advertise this system for both the coupe and sedan???.....go figure??

I was trying to find someone with a 06-07 sedan that might have already installed or tried to install this
system and therefore ableto tell me if the installation went well or, if there were fitment problems requiring
modification.

What say anybody????

you mustnot have read my post very well....you have a coupe, I have a sedan....I already know that it
fits fine on the coupe, I'm looking for feedback from the sedan owners that installed or attempted
to install this system......thanks again....

 

i checked around for you and they are differant the sedan exhaust is 2 inches longer then the coupe
