true that, but just because you dont like it doesnt make it wrong. everyone has personal taste. i personally like to keep my car as quite as possible. i cannot stand not being able to hear my radio going down the freeway with all 5 windows open. as far as looks are concerned ive seen some hot show cars with 20" rims and massive body kits on accords and such where 20"rims actually dont look like 44" swampers. i guess its what you appreciate and dont appreciate but i look at cars from multiple standpoints not just from what i think is cool or not.

 

I agree with the statement above. I am so sick of honda with a welded "Performance" Muffler just bolted on. When youre getting a new exhaust system you should just go for whats loudest. Go for something that sounds sweet AND gives u decent power gains. If u want loud u can just drill holes in ur stock muffler lol.

 

ok my point is this then i'm gonna leave it alone. as you can see she was not asking how to chop her exhaust to make it loudest. she also went on to say she wanted a catback... read on what she said. to accuse her of being stupid for asking what a good loud exhaust is not cool. she wasnt asking for peoples opinions on whether loud exhausts are ricey or not either. she just wanted a lil advice on what a good CATBACK would be to get while keeping that loud sound she likes. to 04_civic: do what you do and keep on doin it. no matter what you do someone is not going to agree with it so do what you like, rock on.

lol i never was argueing im just sayin the loudness factor shouldnt be involved in getting exhaust. Unless u have a big ol 427 under the hood. Im not tryin to bash anyone for getting exhaust. Not at all. If u want to get an AWESOME exhaust it is going to cost you thou. BUT ITS WORTH IT>!!!! Get the GREDDY EVO exhaust (Catback) that is one of the most respected exhausts on this forum......and is sounds sick.....like really sick. I vote for greddy evo catback.

I have a 05 civic ex coupe special edition, installed a dc sport 4-1 header and dc sport cat-back system, has a great sound, very loud, deep tone. souns more like it has a little muscle than a tin can on the back of it.

 

I've got a Ractive carbon fiber muffler and it sounds really good. Maybe not loud enough for you though. It has the tip you can put in it to quiet down the sound. Good for long distance. The tip does hinder performance though. Please whatever you do, make it look good. It can either be really cool or you could be laughed at by every person you pass. 2002 EX Sedan.
