intercooler with no turbo

RE: intercooler with no turbo
You can put one in, but it will decrease performance. Why? Because it's more restrictive than a cold air intake. Second, because it is going to be ambient air flowing into it, and ambient air flowing over it, there's no difference in temperatures, and therefore it wont cool it down at all. So no, it's not a good idea.

please dont put an interfooler on ur car, esp an '07 civic, their way to nice to rice out...anything that adds power will prolly throw out ur warranty. he has an '07 civic, only thing i could see him swapping in that would be an improvement is the new SI motor which i dunno how that swap would go. maybe a direct swap,i dunno...ur outa luck with big power unless u want to throw out warranty and do a turbo.
