intercooler with no turbo

Default intercooler with no turbo

im thinkin about gettin a inner cooler as like a way to get more air, as like a ram air or somethign, is that a good idea?

You can put one in, but it will decrease performance. Why? Because it's more restrictive than a cold air intake. Second, because it is going to be ambient air flowing into it, and ambient air flowing over it, there's no difference in temperatures, and therefore it wont cool it down at all. So no, it's not a good idea.

instant hp besides turbo? go with a swap, or nos, or a supercharger....

big power other than turbo/swap = impossible

(supercharging a civic is also VERY difficult; turbo is DEFINITELY CLEANER)

reality is.... Horsepower = MONEY......lots of it. well over 3 grand invested in a car i bought for 200.00

please dont put an interfooler on ur car, esp an '07 civic, their way to nice to rice out...anything that adds power will prolly throw out ur warranty. he has an '07 civic, only thing i could see him swapping in that would be an improvement is the new SI motor which i dunno how that swap would go. maybe a direct swap,i dunno...ur outa luck with big power unless u want to throw out warranty and do a turbo.

dont do it. period. you will be considered at huge huge huge loser, its just not worth getting laughed at by every car guy available
