How to make my short air intake louder

RE: How to make my short air intake louder
I don't think there's a way to make it louder. Bigger piping might make a differenec, but make sure that the pipe's diameter does not exceed the diameter of the throttle body inlet, or you'll lose the benefits of the intake. I suggest to get a cold air intake (it will be more quiet, but you'll feel the difference performancewise.

You want to make your engine be loud as hell. Get rid of short ram intake and just put the cone air filter on to the throttle body. That will make it loud for sure. Hit me back if it worked. O and another thing louder isn't always faster.

I did that! My first intake was just a big 3in k & n filter stuck right on my throttle body. It actually wasnt that bad, it sounded kinda nice IMO. Then I got a real cold air intake which doesnt sound as deep, but its definately not stock, sounds good, performance improved on cold air especially in the winter time and at high speeds, a 4th grear drop is much better on the highway with cold air intake

i'm not sure what "muffler" you ahve on your car but usually an intake and exhaust can make your car VERY loud. Most of the "load" sounds actually come from the exhaust anyway. It all depends on the one you choose.
