How can I identify my exhaust?
I have what I call a bumblebee muffler. It's too dark to get a pic right now but it has a big opening and the body is big and round. It has a deep sound to it. If you look inside you can see straight through but it has a million little "loops" lining the inside. It has no name anywhere that I can see.
The mother of the girl that owned it said that it was a $500 exhaust "system" but to me it looks like it is just a muffler welded on. I guess I would have to measure the exhaust piping to see if it was actually bigger.
I want to offer it on Craigslist in exchange for a stock muffler so I need to know what to call it. Is there a website that identifies some of these or does the description ring a bell (I know it probably describes a hundred different brands)?
