I'm gonna guess 116hp after the i/h/e... its a d-series lol

but in all honesty, I'd say maybe 120 if you're lucky.

Man, I have to get a new engine, lol.

I want one of those nice DOHC stock JDM's that push almost 200hp, wish I had the cash for that.
Gettin my 190-Crank hp DOHC H22 this summer if everything goes right

"why did you build up a d15b? any reason?"

When I bought my 2000 Civic new in 2000, it was to have a good reliable car. I didn't know what a "tuner" was back then. Then as I slowly got into it, added intake, then exhaust, wheels and tires, then headers. I was in no positition financially to run out and buy a new one while paying off this one, so I figured I'd do what I can to my Civic to improve the performance. That's why I built it, and I'm glad I did. Didn't cost too much, runs much better, sounds better and looks pretty nice with the wheels and tires.
The other day I raced a Focus SVT on Woodward Avenue here in Detroit, and kept up with him neck and neck. Not too shabby.
Thanks for the input fellows.

I'm gonna have to say you're probably at 115 accounting for the probable lost compression over the years.

And I'm sure the300lbs he has on you with his tc had nothing to do with this.

Remember: when you're talking about anything relating to cars, there's a lot of driver skill involved. I'm sure Stephen Papadakis could step into a stock civic and beat the hell out of anybody in a tc.

ej6buddy:

gotcha, thanks for the input though.

Question: So where does one acquire one of these crate K20's or hi-po Honda motors for a swap? And how much are we talking??
