Default Generic or Name Brand

I've been looking for a nice exhaust system at a low price on ebay, but does it really matter if its generic or name brand? I found a nice looking Holley exhaust system http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin.../TCatback.html . But would it be worth it to save up for a Hayame/Greddy/HKS system? I can get the Holley for around 130.

(I have a 96 EX Coupe)

yes, it matters a lot. im not sure about holley, their other products are good, i just havent heard anything about their exhaust. get the best you can afford. cheap exhaust is crap. i know, i have some POS muffler shop exhaust on my car and i hate it.

You get what you pay for with exhaust systems. Same with suspension....and most other aftermarket parts.

id say it goes beyond that, ive seen some headers that i wouldnt pay 50 cents for. the fitment sucks, the design sucks, and there is no way that they can help power. and the cheap ones go as high as, like 150. not worth what you pay. id rather not have any, than one of those.

that looks decent, but they say its LOUD. i hope you like it. BTW, before you decide if you like it or not, have a friend drive it so you can hear it from ouside the car. you cant really tell how loud it is from the inside. looks pretty good though.

I bought a N1 tsudo extreme catback Exhaust . it sounds great and was easy to install. and it sounds real deep, and not raspy at all. payed maybe 225 with shipping. I luv it its also not to loud but at high rpms its loud. I am very satisfied. I give it a high 10.
