Fueling/ SR vs. CAI

Fueling/ SR vs. CAI
Does the stock ECU and injectors have the capability to compensate for I/H/E or is reprogramming necessary?
Also, is it true that a short ram intake gives more torque than a CAI? These things have no torque to speak of so I think I may get the short ram... not to mention it looks like they're cheaper. Thoughts? Upon reviweing AEM's website, it looks like the SRM is superior in low end torque.

RE: Fueling/ SR vs. CAI
there isn't really a problem with the ecu having to be programmed. not with just I/H/E, if it was programmed you might make more because the tune. yes it is true that these engines have little torque but the torque they make is all above 5000rpm. not low end at all. get the CAI and be done with it. SRI's suck and won't get the nice cool air. or get a two piece one and try both.

That's what I thought... from AEM dyno sheets, the max HP gain is similair, but low end torque is higher with SRM while low end power is LESS with CAI...
I ussualy drive 2000-4000 rpm's, and that's where the power is at with the SRS.
But maybe my logic is all off.

What is stock FWHP (not crank) for my car?
What's the ballpark it would be at with a 4-2-1/srs/greddy EVO2 combo?
