Could I use this as a resonator?

RE: Could I use this as a resonator?
Cheap glasspacks work fine as a temporary solution to dampening sound and reducing resonance. But like I said, it's temporary and it will burn out and sound bad again. While they are new though they sound great as a resonator but really anyone is better off paying $50 bucks or so on ebay for a Magnaflow resonator. The 4" round body mufflers that Magnaflow sells work great.

Steel wool burns which you wouldn't ussualy believe, but because it's so thin, it does. Anything with carbon in it will burn (the process is the reaction between carbon and oxygen), just at different temperatures.
