Hi there. I have a 2000 Civic Si and wanted everyones opinion on what would be a good CAI on it. I was thinking of going with AEM's V2. Any thoughts?

aem's are nice, but just get an ebay intake, and put a good filter on it. no need to pay hundreds for something that is the same. ebay intake is like 50 bux, then go out and get a quality filter, those are like 10 i think and there you go.

I got a K&N intake for my '97 HX from autozone for like $150 two weeks ago.

Easy to install, no additional parts required. Sweet package and I had it the next day. Sounds sweet, looks sweet, and I can surely feel the difference.

I would pay $150 bucks for no intake ...

You need to get cold air from the out side of the car.... I dont no what the airbox looks like .... On my hx i ran pvc from the bottom of the airbox down the the foglight area cut the whole and made it fit... Then i had cold ram air.....

The pvc pipe was formed to the foglight whole... It looked complety stock. When i raced i use to pop the engine compartment and they would ask do you have a intake.. I said no they looked and said okay. and then i would beat them.. I was going to do it do my Lx 99 civic but the intake is differnt.. On the hx the intake goes to the fender and down.. then its hooked to the bottom of the box.. Makes it really easy.... On the 99 lx it stock airbox sucks hot air in the engine compartment.. but the funny thing on the 99 theres no whole in the fender like the hx... I thought all civic were the same.. LOL
