Civic sir stock exhaust & Header on a 96 CX
Wondering if I can use a 99 sir stock exhaust and header on my 96 CX hatchback? Someone is selling one for cheap and my exhaust is falling apart. Basically everything from my cat back has to be replaced and I have the cat/header combo. Just looking for the cheapest solution.
Thanks

I assume you are in canada, and your SiR is the same as our ex. If that is the case, then if you want the exhaust to fit:
1) It has to be specifically for a hatchback. A 2/4 door exhaust will not fit.
2) You will have to switch out the header and cat for those out of an sir (ex in US), or buy aftermarket parts.
when switching and exhaust setup on a CX,DX,or LX to a EX setup, everything must be switched at the same time and cannot be done in pieces. This of course only pertains if you want everything to bolt up correctly. The other alternative is to cut off the flanges and weld the pipes together, but that is way more work.

the B series header won't bolt onto the D, period. And the exhaust probably will be similar but won't line up exactly due to the engine, although it might be similar, especially if its a hatch (btw they DO make SIR hatches, or did)
