i'd recommend an icebox system but A. comptech hasn't made one for the new civics that i know of, and B. comptech is out of business...

lol.

I dont know why you would need a professional to install a short ram... there are only 5 bolts and a screw holding your stock box on and a flathead screwdriver is all you need to put the intake on! I never got a CARB sticker but I live in Oregon... if there is any concern just put your stock box back on before you get emissions checked.

better. i can't find the dyno chart right off, but gains on vtec integras were rediculous. something like 13 - 15 hp on the GS-R dyno PDF sheet i saw.

it was 13 lb/tq gain at the wheels.

and the horsepower gains were 19 at the wheels.

Is the icebox kinda like the volant intake kits that just has the box around the intake?

California is alot different with their restrictions Moog. haha like BlackMetal said, its suprising that you can even own a car in Cali
