Default AEM Short Ram Intake?

Im thinking about getting an AEM short ram intake for my '00 EX. Is it a good intake or is there any other intake around the same price that i would benefit from better?

I have an AEM SRI for my 95 and no complaints at all. The reason i bought it was cuz it was cheaper than pretty much any other name brand short ram. Or u could but an ebay intake and buy a K&N filter for it, that wouldnt be so bad either...

I'll go with the cai. I dont really see the purpose of the sri since it suck in hot air from the engine bay. If your on a budget you should consider the ebay intake. Nothing is wrong with them.

Dont. You wouldnt notice anymore gains with the V2. Its a little bit louder, but thats it.

aaaactually the V2 is the most technilogically advanced intake out there. its dyno proven to give you between 5 and 8 hp (and not by AEM)

I have a V2... There is no way it get 5-8 hp on a civic. Dont get me wrong i love tha thing but i just dont see it being that much more powerful than a sri.
