MMMM sexy, i love it! haha

Jk but about the cobalt stuff. Heres the basic scenario. Chevy started off with making a 2 door and 4 door SS but aparently (i just learned this from our HCF "Shawty") they made non sc'ed ones ??? but they were debating on whether to bring the cobalt back in 2009 and they did just not in a 4 door version BUT switched the coupe SS to a turbo set up. The old SS sedans are now the LT edition Cobalts which have the same bumpers, sporty wheels, interior, similar exhaust, and 2.4 L motor. So basically todays 4 door Cobalt LS is the same as a 2005 non sc'ed Cobalt SS ....to quote cvc, "thats chevy for yah"

Edit: do u have HID's nosafebetdx?

Yup.... guess what? Ford did the same thing with the Mustang...especially the cooling system (might be more, but thats all I am worried about). It has been a fun past 3 weeks at work learning almost everything there is know about the differences b/w all mustangs from 1964-2010, then you factor in the Cobras, Roushes, Bullitts, Terminators, and Mach 1s. A couple little changes for one year, and then switched it back for a another year. LOL

Nice...but you might want to consider new mounts in the future. The motor being slightly in a bind like that can cause more road vibrations. Make sure if you do buy new ones, get the Innovative ones since you have their auto-manual bracket. Using mismatched mounts will also seat the motor awkwardly since they are all designed slightly different.

True, But It was like my old motor was a POS and burned like 2 quarts of oil a week which is a waste of $$$ We wanted to build this one but we also didn't want the old motor to blow up while I was driving it and me be stuck b/c this motor wasn't finished!
My BF Finds deals on B18's left & right! So I mean finding another one for a decent price won't be hard, then what we will do is build the new one & such and when it's in, rebuild this one and sell it or he'll use it for something or I'll buy another car and use it. I REALLY want a hatch... So if I just had an extra motor laying around all I would need would be a cleannnn shell

&& cvcrcr99 : I know I need to clean my engine bay :/ it was clean the axle boot ripped & now there is axle grease all over the damn place... ughh... I don't know anything abt tucking no ballast boxes :/

When he says to tuck the ballasts, he just means to hide them somewhere, so they're not all out in the open. Makes the engine bay look "jumbled." I have mine zip tied to the front bumper support, with about 5 zip ties on each of the 4 of them (my fog's are HID's too,) just in case.

Car's looking great girl, definitely making awesome progress! And driving a manual is so much better, isn't it????
