Superfly's "my car got stripped!" rebuild
#52
Call me Jesus, because I am resurrecting this thread! Hot damm it's been a while
Now that I am GRADUATED and have a real job as an engineer at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama , I have real money to spend on my Civic.
I just recently installed new suspension on my car, a Bilstein BTS B12 kit. No more 4x4 stance... thank the Lord Almighty!
Stock Ride Height
Old front suspension coming out!
New Biilsteins in
Front lowered, Rear at stock height
Stock vs New in the Rear

The body is beat up, and two colors, but it's mechanically sound. Good enough for me!
Not sure the next step, but there definitely will be one soon. I ordered some 4 gauge to do the Big 3. Not a huge thing, but it'll make me happy =)
I really think that one of the next things will be a new carpet lol, get some panels that got lost (stupid me), and then replace ALL bushings and some suspect bolts (e.g. LCA bolts). None of my bolts siezed up, but some of them worry me.

Ordered some carpet samples from StockInteriors.com. I've heard good things and bad things about fitment, but whatever. The samples are free. I'll be sure to post up pics for color comparison.

Hmm, well f*ck it. I'll do it right and buy OEM then.
For now this is the DD. I should have another car soon, like mid-March. I'm getting a 1994 Miata M Edition, with 37,000 miles. I'm stoked!!
Given the condition of this Miata, it's staying bone stock. Having two cars will make working on the Civic a lot less of a hassle.
Splat, I may end up doing that, but not for a while. I'm in an apt right now. So I'm in the research and acquire parts stage. Btw, you still have your J Civic?

Yep, still have both.
I let my brother drive my trip tonic one day..... well, its now a parts car.
But my 6 speed is just waiting for spring.
Nice little Miata, I don't both of my legs would fit that thing, are those stock polished rims?

Wait, what's a parts car? I'm not sure I saw that car ever.
Yeah, those wheels only came on that model and that year, which is pretty cool. Ha it's quite a squeeze in, but i fit pretty well. It's a blast to drive.
