Gene, I can't believe you actually decided to do this project. I'm proud of you though. We need to do Shady Maple again when this is done so you can show me this beast. Send me a text btw, I lost all my numbers. I have a question for you. PS. If you need some help with hinges, I may be able to help. I just finished up a HUGE portion of my senior FSAE design project so I have some free time.

I'm waiting on pistons at the moment. Megasquirt2 kit has been ordered. Also waiting on the cam, but that will be even longer than pistons... I can't believe I'm doing this either... it's one thing to talk about it and it's completely another to actually build this engine and have full intent to put it in this car.

Still waiting on cam. It's been 2.5 months since it was ordered. Work on the longblock left is just putting on the cam and the valve cover. The engine is cleeeean.

 

Clean is an understatement! I cannot wait to see this completed. Once done, I am definitely making a trip out there to take a ride in it!
