Got the pistons in the other day. 780cc injectors came in too.

Build officially starts wednesday, I'll be getting pictures that day of everything. Transmission build is happening 2nd weekend of Feb, have all the parts just waiting for the last bit.

Getting there, getting there.

Nice! thoughs are so sick, when I worked at a shop the installer was fabricating one..it was pretty sweet to watch it go toughter.

Yay, more updates!

The other day went to my dad's shop to work on the engine. Pulled and checked the crank, wrapped all of the bearings, inspected again and everything seems to be great so far. Pulled all the pumps, decided we're just going to reuse the oil pump and replace the water pump. Also made our markings for the block notching. Next time I go down we're going to notch and clean the block. Then we have to put the pistons on the rods and put them into the block, measure and plastigauge all of the rod bearings, and then bolt it all together. Tada, bottom end!

Vitara 75mm pistons, also known as YCP pistons.

Precision 780cc injectors, non-saturated.

Zex 59300 Camshaft, mmm.

ahhh so your dad has a engine shop...well i bet that helps out alot. Keep up with the updates

hey Sov i see ur going with vitara pistons. any specific reason why u went with those and not cp's orje's? just wonderin' if there's any difference in quality between the three.
