Salesman at Circuit City, full time right now. I get barely 30 hours a week though, so I'm probably going to start looking for another job.

The tranny really didn't cost me that much.

All the gears and tidbits - $100
New Bearings - $100
OBX LSD - $350

Yeah, I went with stock retainers and ZEX springs.

Last night I tore apart the head, waiting on some new valve seals before I reassemble it. I still can't believe I picked this engine up for $50, the head is in EMMACULATE condition aside from some carbon build up (which we washed out). It's straighter than an arrow and has been milled .005 which will help bump the low compression that the vitara's suffer. Dropping the 59300 and new valve springs in soon, then we're gonna be rockin.

Bearings for the engine come in tomorrow, so assembly starts next week!

My clutch came in last night. Holy **** look at this thing!





My left foot immediately kicked me in the *** after seeing the double thickness diaphram, lol. This thing is gonna SUCK in traffic.
