I have heard that they are pretty good street shocks as long as your car is not too low. Not exactly sure how low your car is, but the lowest drop I would go with these shocks is about 1.5 inches. Any lower and I would recommend a little higher end shocks like KYB AGXs, or Koni yellows

Update time - so a couple of days ago i applied for a credit card at my bank but i have yet to hear back from them, so my plan is if i do get the card i will begin ordering my pistons/rods/bearings. If i cant get the card on my own i may talk to my parents about co-signing and if that fails then im just going to be saving and my project will take longer =P.
Tomorrow is payday, i am starting to look for a bare d16 block with just a crank. My reason for this is to be able to get my pistons and what not into a "spare" block while still being able to drive my car. Then when i have everything i need turbo kit and everything i would like to just be able to switch out bottom ends instead of tearing apart my block then putting in the parts.
Also tomorrow i plan on ordering some energy suspension shifter link bushings and picking up a spare set of motor/trans mount to try out the solid polyurthane mount DIY. And maybe look into picking up my clutch pretty soon.

A couple of days ago i picked up some polyurthane energy suspension sway bar link bushings from advanced auto for 10 bucks! They are universal bushings so i did have to do some modifying. The bushings were too thick so to shave them down my buddy held the bushings with channel locks and we sanded them down with a belt sander...surprisingly it worked out very well lol. Anyways this was a quick and easy install but made a HUGE difference. Between the rear sway bar and these bushings my car handles 200% better, i highly recommend these bushings, 10 bucks for them and you can definitely tell a difference.
