-make sure you tap your oil pan "after" you mount your downpipe, sov told me this but i forgot, now im still trying to figure a way around it, the downpipe is DIRECTLY in my way because of my failure to listen.

waiting on rywire's obd2 - obd1 conversion harness for the distributor!
when they say 2-5 days shipping i think they mean 2-5 weeks or something...
this is rediculous

RE: DiDDeR'
well heres a little annoying update:
car isnt running after conversion harness, fires for 1-2 seconds and shuts off... thought it was spark so i bought a new distributor because the old one was OLD, and a new 45volt external coil pack... same thing (when it does fire it has more emphasis though!)
bought a new throttle position sensor too just because the old one had 130k on it..
im thinking it doesnt start because im running a stock map on a 2.5bar map basemap so im going to install the 2.5bar map sensor and see if she fires up on monday
that it boys, sorry i suck so bad lol

upadte:::
car started after changing map, so the beast runs! but one HUGE problem, the lifters and valve timing needed adjusted so i popped off the valve cover and what do i find?
NO JAM NUTS ON THE TAPPETS! The guy i bought the motor from forgot to tell me he didnt put the jam nuts on yet... and to top it off he cleaned his garage out and through them away...
on top of it all, my efi main relay went out, but thats an easy fix...
so in order for car to finally run i need,
1.) 16 honda jam nuts ($1.99, $50 bucks shipped to my house is the cheapest i could find on the net, the dealer wanted $3.25 a piece)
2.) used main relay $20
getting these parts in next week sometime then im going to ADJUST THOSE VALVES! and get my fuel pump pumping fuel again...
best part is, when i first started the motor up my throttle body stuck on the throttle body gasket and my motor revved to 7 grand on the first start up with valves all loosey goosey and not even close to being timed right. im lucky as hell nothing broke..
SO CLOSE!
yet so very far..................
