Hey, I would possibly be interested in buying a painted vc from you... I dont have the time to do it myself. preferrably black... let me know what you would want shipped to 75002... thanks!

Little update:

Tomorrow I am about to buy some 15" rota slipstreams(flat black). They come with tires (Dunlop direzza sport z1 195/55R15) two have really bad camber wear, I confirmed this today when I went to check them out. We just settled on $280 which imo is a great deal.

One question tho, im about to get some 195/50/15's to replace the two with bad camber wear, does it really matter if I put the 55's in the front or the 50's in the front? I was thinking the 50's would be better since they are brand new. LMK wat you guys think.

Also the drop should finally be happening thurs. after I get out of work...slips will also be installed then too. Pictures to come!!! And the new tool set.

yeah 280 aint bad, and two of the tires are in great condition.

yeah i got it from kregan, sweet little deal especially since its my first set of tools, comes with a little sample of everything lol. Plus my dad paid for half of it since his tool collection sucks after he moved into our current house 18 years ago.

Lets start off with the boring stuff and work our way to the fun stuff. Finally removed the broken bolt that I snapped off while re-installing my valve cover. Just used a drill and a bolt extractor. Went really smooth and here are some pictures, although at first it was really hard cause the bolt snapped unevenly.

This is a pic with the VC off and where the broken bolt was(drivers side top bolt)

Here is a pic with the bolt extractor in the broken bolt after drilling about 1/4th of an inch down.

Now the fun stuff, picked up the slipstreams today, I have to say they are in really good condition and for $290, final price we settled on, not too bad of a deal. Anyways here are some pictures.

Update: Tomorrow I0 will be looking at and possibly buying a turbo kit minus the intercooler for $150. I know it seems low but I was talking to the guy and he just wants to get rid of it cause everyone is flaking on him. Garret td40 turbo, greddy manifold, greddy bov, charge piping, and more. I might actually be able to turbo my car for under $500.

Yay!!! turbo kit!!!! Any shaft play in that turbo by chance? $100 is a damn good deal. Also, I am liking that red cone that is attached to the BOV. I have only seen blue (like mine), purple, silver, and black. Is it painted, or is it supposed to be like that? Looks like it is supposed to be that color... I like!

Thanks a lot, yeah its supposed to be painted like that. Also NO SHAFT PLAY, this was honestly a steal. All that charge piping was ghetto rigged, so im throwing it all out. Prolly will keep the couplers and the little metal things lol totally blanking on there name. Only disappointment is the manifold, but after it gets welded up I think it should be fine, plus I think i might add some reinforcements and use that heat wrap.
