y8 swap to ef need some info plz

Default y8 swap to ef need some info plz

hey guys okay so its official my 99 ex is totaled and well now i have a y8 swap full ready for my ef
can ne one tell me what i really need done due to pedal wise as in i got the harness n the swap down its self jus do i have to swap my pedals out cuz ef is running cable n now im switching to hydraulic do u no it its a direct swap for pedals or is there a way i can stick with mines
or can ne one tell me if its worth keepn my si tranny or switching to y8 tranny which is awesome on top n speed n is great for take off the si tranny struggles at 85 90 mph

thats your best bet. From what has been said on honda tech, seems to work pretty well.

so its official ill just run the whole harness n go hydraulic but whats different a bout the pedals do i have to convert pedals from my ex99 go my hatch

that bracket goes on the the hydro transmission. It hooks up to your stock cable clutch line but when pulled it utilizes the cylinder in the hydro transmission so you dont have to change out your entire clutch system.

okay i figured it out let me no ppl if u find an error ima do a mpfi conversion to my original harness first , then run a obd to obd1 ecu harness adapter then run a vtec subharness to the obd1 adaptor mix n match plugs to my block n start it up

-mpfi conversion to obd0 harness
-run obd to obd1 ecu conversion harness
-run sub vtec to obd1 conversion harness
-connect p28 ecu
convert distributor from obd to obd1 n start it up
does ne one see ne errors or ne thing else i have to doo
n does any one have the layouts for obd to obd1 distributor

to update srry guys im going z6 now i sold my 99 ex it was picked it up yesturday afternoon i purchased z6 today engine only so im sticking to my si tranny thats installed on my d15
im looking at conversion harnesses but im also looking at just buying a z6 harness what do u guys think
