Windshield frosted up on the inside

RE: Windshield frosted up on the inside
All I can say is welcome to the effects of subzero temperatures. Clean the snow off the hood of your car and from the windshield wiper cowl area. do this quite well because i found snow blowing over the hood caused alot of this happening especially while moving down the road.
Run the car with the defroster setting on high the fan on high aimed right at the windshield. Where i come from it reached -40 to -60 regularly in the winter. school would not get closed until it reached minus 60, so i know what it is like.

^ i feel ya, i try to always keep the heat on your feet on high so it evaporates off hte floor mat, but the one on my passenger side is janky and doesnt blow strong, so idk
and Gene, are you serious? lol
EDIT: think the seal around my windows would have anything to do with it? Like maybe its worn out? And would i just have a shop replace it?

I had the windshield on my Silverado replaced last winter. It was a crap day like our recent midwest weather. I had the truck in the garage with a kerosene heater going. It was maybe 60 degrees. The tech told me to let it sit in the garage for a couple hours and its fine. I had Safelite do it. It was $170 installed with a lifetime warranty on the install and the glass. My neighbor had them replace an Odyssey's windshield for like $225.
Another thing to think about: In Illinois (and I imagine elsewhere), it is illegal to have a cracked windshield. They can pull you over for it, and write you a ticket. I got tagged in Chicago a long time ago. There was no fine. I just needed proof of repair. It was a bigger pain going to court downtown than having the glass fixed.

Run your defroster on high heat, with the AC turned on to remove moisture from the air, before you shut it down every night. Clean the inside of your windows extremely well inside with glass cleaner, then apply some Rain-X anti-fog.
