Just curious.

lol fourty - never. The only ones that talk about the chassis code are kids that are trying to be know it all's. I was talking to another ef driver, and told him I love ef's. He had to set me straight and say his was an ed. Made me lol.

People just refer to their ef as an ef to be simple. But you have an ed6. My sig, says ef you even though I have an ED6. Simplicity.

Yeah, it's true that knowing what EF is doesn't really matter, but it really simplifies things when you're talking about generations.
When I go to autowreckers, I wish I could just say "Do you have any EF's at all in there?"
Instead of saying "Do you have any 88-91 Honda Civics in there at all?"
Only to other automotive enthusiasts I will say EF. Most of them know, unless they're purely into domestics or something. Everyone seems to have owned a Honda at some point around here. Or a Neon.

all neons, or morons around phoenix.

everyone calls it by the wrong name, or thinks it means something different. Personally i dont know or really care what chassis year it is, because it doesnt matter to me lol. but if its easier for you then go for it
