Default Urgent ? to find a kill switch

I need to find out where to buy manual kill switch for my car any clue on where they sell them? EX. Homedepot Walmart etc

local auto parts store should sell them maybe walmart, not too sure though.

Thanks if anyone else knows of some places please let me know i have to go and get one tomorrow and id like to know i have options

It won't be called a "kill switch" at the store. You use an ordinary general-purpose toggle switch like would be used for fog lights, etc.

The fuel pump circuit is 15 amps, so if you're going to put the switch on the fuel pump line it should be rated for 15 amps or more.

No the one i was thinking of is and ignition switch where it just completes the circuit when pressed down to start the car it goes under the carpet

you mean a push button starter switch, yes all part stores have them.

That one you would just wire in the starter circuit. Note that a thief could still (after busting the ignition cylinder) roll-start the car or hotwire the starter directly under the hood. If you cut the fuel pump or the ignition circuit it will crank but not start, which makes a lot of noise and frustration. You can of course do more than one technique at once.

yeah i went out and got a deal on an alarm that they will make it a kill switch i think ill do that and the button starter
